Here’s what you can expect from a normal tattooing procedure:

  • The tattoo specialist should disinfect his hands by washing with germicidal soap.
  • The area you want your tattoo on your body should be disinfected and clean.
  • The tattoo specialist should wear on his hands clean new gloves, possibly even a surgical mask).
  • The tattoo specialist should explain you the procedure needed for sterilization and open a new set of  single-use items such as gloves, needles and so on.
  • Using the tattoo gun, the tattoo specialist will draw an outline of the tattoo with a strong colored ink.

Tattoo Artist

  • Vaseline will be used before applying the ink to keep the ink from messing the skin.
  • The outline will be cleaned with soap and water.
  • About 4 needles will be installed on the tattoo gun, and the tattoo specialist can start filling the outline. Another cleaning of the area is necessary at this moment because, color will be added.
  • When the tattoo is finished, the area will be cleaned once again instructions will be given for care.
